Johannes Feilmair has extensive experience advising domestic and international clients on complex private equity and M&A transactions, joint ventures, restructurings, as well as large-scale real estate, infrastructure, and energy projects.
A particular focus of his practice is on transactions in regulated industries, especially in the energy and infrastructure sectors, as well as in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. He is also highly experienced in structuring and implementing sophisticated joint venture models for strategic investors and private equity funds.
In the field of digital infrastructure, Johannes Feilmair regularly advises on transactions involving radio tower portfolios, mobile networks and, in particular, data centers. His combination of legal expertise, commercial acumen and sector-specific insight enables him to navigate complex technical, regulatory and contractual matters efficiently and with a clear, solution-oriented approach.
Johannes Feilmair studied business law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. In recognition of his outstanding academic performance, he was awarded multiple merit-based scholarships and was included in the Rector’s List of top students. Prior to joining E+H, he worked as a research and teaching assistant at the Institute for Austrian and International Tax Law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and gained practical experience at a leading Vienna-based commercial law firm.
In addition to his legal practice, he is active as an author and sought-after speaker in the fields of corporate and real estate law, and as a subject-matter expert in digital infrastructure.
