E+H advised ECOwind, an Austrian general contractor for wind and solar projects, on entering into a joint venture with a subsidiary of EVN, a leading Austrian utility company. The joint project company is constructing the largest floating photovoltaic plant in Central Europe in Grafenw\u00f6rth (Lower Austria, Tulln district). With a capacity of 24.5 MWp, the energy project is expected to supply around 7,500 households with green electricity starting in spring 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
ECOwind has been developing, planning, and constructing renewable energy projects in the field of wind power and photovoltaics (PV) in Austria and CEE since 1995. The portfolio of ECOwind, a BayWa r.e. company, ranges from wind farms and innovative, large-scale, ground-mounted PV projects, to individual photovoltaic solutions for agricultural land.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
