Matthias Schmid is an associate in the practice groups for IP/IT Law and Antitrust + Competition Law.

Matthias Schmid holds a bachelor’s degree in business law from the University of Innsbruck and a master’s degree in business law from the Vienna University of Economics and Business. During his undergraduate studies, he worked as an economic advisor for the student council of the University of Innsbruck and held a supervisory board position. During his master’s studies, Matthias specialized in competition law and wrote his master’s thesis in this field.

Before joining E+H as an associate, Matthias Schmid gained practical experience as a legal assistant in another distinguished business law firm in Vienna.
